TRIE65U D9A2
-------------------------- JUL 1987 by Le6 Tro5ng Hie61u, VN Consulting Inc.,
62-65 Saunders St., Suite 1B, Rego Park, NY 11374.
Trie65u D9a2 founded the independent kingdom of Nam Vie65t, which included
much of Southern China. In 207 BC, the Chinese Qin dynasty collapsed, and
power in the region was assumed by Trie65u D9a2, who proclaimed himself King
Trie65u Vu4 Vu7o7ng and founded the Trie65u dynasty. His capital was located
near Guangzhou. He and King An Du7o7ng Vu7o7ng were allied against Ha1n
encroachment. He later moved against King An Du7o7ng Vu7o7ng and annexed A6u
La5c. King Trie65u Vu4 Vu7o7ng divided his kingdom of Nam Vie65t into nine
military districts, the southern three (Giao Chi3, Cu73u Cha6n, and Nha65t
Nam) included the northern part of Vie65t Nam. The La5c lords continued to
rule in the Red River Delta as vassals of Nam Vie65t.
